She clashes with the Zealot and both seem evenly matched but days of fighting with no food or water left her weak and take it's toll as she slowly falls back. The Zealot pushes her back and presses with an overhead slash but doesn't compensate for a Spartans speed and she dodges slicing his back and destroying his overshields. He roars and charges her but she falls onto her back making him fall onto her and kicks him a meter with both legs. He gets up with encouragement from his brothers while the Spartan stumbles up with a cut on her shoulder. She can see the prisoners cheering her on and feel a chance, just a chance, that she might escape into the bowels of the ship and save them all from death. The Zealot approaches and with one final effort they clash but instead of locking blades she ducks flipping the Zealot over and stabbing it with his own blade. Silence. Then a blade slashes through her chest and sees the general appear "FIRE" "But my lord--" "I SAID FIRE DAMMIT" she drags the handle closer and grabs his energy dagger and stabs him. Both fall to the ground. The Spartan rises to her knees and looks at the other prisoners and smiles as the clicks and whining of weaponry prepare to fire. The Major gives the order "Fire".
. . . . . .she never spoke. a search through her file showed she had never spoken since she was kidnapped. She only ever said that one word. Reach. It was her birthplace, her boot camp, her home. She never spoke again just smiled. Not when the planet was glasses not when her home burned, not when her fellow Spartans died. Not when they gave the order. Not a word. The silence in the room was deafening. . . . .
